Suzy's Chilean LDS Mission : January 2017

HELLO everyone....... this week was awesomeee. It's weird BC I feel like this week went by super slow but so many things happened this week. Yeah idk it's a weird feeling hahah. But hey we are teaching so many cool people right now... The only thing stopping them from baptism is opposition for one obviously... and the other is they need to get married lolz. It's so cool being part of the process of people changing their lives to follow Christ. I can't describe the feeling or the love you can feel for people. The mission is such a blessing. The things you learn are only possible through serving... So if someone reading this is currently deciding if they want/need to go on a mission this is your sign GO!!!!

I can't think of anything super crazy or funny that happened this week so sorry.. i will try to keep track of everything better. Oh yeah!! i sent pics of me with a super gorgous woman in a head wrap thing and this was a stake activity that was thee coolest thing ever!! Every ward in the stake had a specific country and had to do the traditional dance and make their food and share how the church started in that country. it was so fun!! Our ward had nigeria;))

But i have to go I hope you all had a great week and are doing well!!! I promise i will work on writing more interesting emails and remembering everything that happens lol. I LOVE YOU ALL write me pls!!!!!!

Hello family and dear friends im sorry i didn't get the chance to write last week... which it's a miracle that im still alive and haven't died of frost bite here. Lolz im kidding but really it's SO COLD HEREEE. It rained this wholeee week and we've been contacting a lot so let's just say i spent a little more time outside than i would like. But we found a ton of awesome people so it was vale la pena (worth it)

This week I definitely learned how to have more faith. My comp and i have been trying so hard to be positive bc none of our investigators were progressing. and after one of the hardest weeks of the mission when i felt like God was testing my faith to its limits.. we found two families and all 6 of the people we taught in this day accepted a baptism date. the lesson from this is NEVER GIVE UP. For real!! God always keeps his promises all we need to do is push ourselves a little and trust in God. If you can follow this advice you will be set for life. Gauranteed.:))
